Our aim is to produce the best quality beer in the market and to provide our customers with exemplary service every time. This is underpinned by the guiding principle of sustainability, which is at the heart of everything we do in the business.
Welbeck Abbey Brewery was established in 2011 by General Manager and Brewster Claire Monk. Our microbrewery is at the heart of an artisan village that produces specialist foods and crafts in a beautiful rural setting.
We’re situated in a heritage barn, producing hand crafted ales using the estate’s own spring water and a unique strain of nurtured yeast.
Our brew team brews over 17,000 pints of our award-winning ales each week, which we supply into local pubs, restaurants, and specialist bottle beer shops.
Please note: There is no public access to the brewery other than on a pre-booked brewery tour. Beer can be purchased via this website and delivered to your door, or you can shop in-store at Welbeck Farm Shop.
These bottle conditioned beers are filled in house to make sure we achieve the very best flavour. This means there will be a small amount of natural sediment in the bottle and may appear hazy - please store upright and pour carefully.
With no settling time required, and filled with live 'cask' ale, these are the perfect alternative to a pint at the local. Once opened they need to be consumed within three days, although we recommend enjoying within two for the best quality drink.

This festive stout has an unctuous velvety-smooth mouthfeel, balanced with the subtle aftertaste of bittersweet dark chocolate.
Crisp grapefruit and tropical freshness in this boldly hopped IPA are balanced with soft, rounded bitterness for an invigorating yet super-drinkable beer this winter.
Cavendish, our signature blonde ale, plays tribute to the House of Cavendish, a family lineage which spans from the 1300’s through to the current family at Welbeck.
This American West Coast IPA showcases the best New World hops, bringing both piney resinous and bold tropical flavours, which are balanced with English malted barley.
Our Red Feather is a robust auburn ale. Plenty of crystal malt gives this beer a rich colour and combination of bold walnut and bitter-sweet caramel flavours.
The Brewery have grown organically to meet the demand for good local beer. The brew team brews over 17,000 pints of our award-winning ales each week, which they supply into local pubs, restaurants, and specialist bottle beer shops within a 35-mile radius.
