Welbeck’s White Deer Park was once famous for its rare breed, where the most striking white stags were regularly seen roaming through the oak tree studded grassland.
Crisp grapefruit and tropical freshness in this boldly hopped IPA are balanced with soft, rounded bitterness for an invigorating yet super-drinkable beer this winter.
4.8% Deep Golden Ale
During The Great War, many communities lost great swathes of young men. Welbeck was no different. Within the Chapel as cast bronze plaque records the names of the fallen, many of whom served in the local regiments; the Sherwood Foresters and the Nottinghamshire Yeomanry.
This complex brew is crafted using British barley blended with Kentish Pilot, and new world hops. Hearty bready undertones from the malt and a sharp bitterness from the Pilot hops are uplifted by tropical fruits from the American varieties
3.8% Green-hopped Pale Ale
Autumn is prime hop-picking season across the Northern Hemisphere. These fresh green hops are used ‘wet’ and give a very subtle flavour to the beer.
This session pale ale is delicate and very easy going, having a very gentle herbaceous flavour.
4.5% Purely English Milk Stout
The 5th Duke was an unusual figure in Victorian high society. He was known for his eccentric behaviour and desire to be distanced from others. He communicated exclusively by letter through his iconic double-letterbox bedroom door.
